Pune is one of the best cities in the state of Maharashtra. The city is famous for its historical monuments, temples and modern shopping places. I had the chance to visit Pune from Indore for one of my business meetings. There are many ways to travel in this route. Air and rail travel both are possible. I chose to travel by air as many low cost airlines have started travel for the passengers in this sector.

Flight from Indore

I had booked my tickets for the travel in the Indigo Airlines. The airlines are known for the low cost air fares. The airlines follow a no frills policy. They charge only for the air ticket. I was luckily to get sales and offer tickets for very low prices. The Indore Pune flights by Indigo are scheduled in the morning. Online check in facility is available for the flight travel.

I had also booked a coffee and a grilled sandwich from the on board menu of the flight. This was very refreshing and tasty. The flight takes a total of 2 hours for travel in this sector. It reached the Pune International Airport on time. After collecting my baggage I headed for the exit to take the cab to reach the hotel I had booked for the stay. I had booked a 4 star hotel of the city for the stay.

I used the travel portal online for booking the Royal Orchard Central in Pune. The hotel is one of the prime properties in the city and located at a 10 minutes drive from the airport. The airport has a modern contemporary infrastructure and decor pleasing to the eyes of all the guests and tourists visiting the property. I booked one of the deluxe rooms of the hotel for the stay. I enjoyed my stay in the city of Pune and also made the most of it by travelling to popular attractions like Phoenix Market City Mall and Seasons Mall in Pune.

These are two of the best malls in Pune to buy anything from clothes to shoes. The malls are located centrally in the main areas of the city and are easily accessible. Both these malls offers an enjoyable shopping experience with plenty of brands covering various different categories, variety of eateries ranging from small coffee shops to fine dine restaurants and a huge food court, lots of activities both indoors and outdoors, live music and concerts.
